| Anyone in the Westchester, New York area know of any groups/enthusiast clubs which have impromptu outings? I am novice to the sport and am always looking for someone to paddle with, but within my circle of friends there really is no one available. It would be all the more fulfilling if I could go with other AE users! Yesterday while paddling one of the State Parks with my 5 year old son, we saw off in the distance someone paddling a Dragonfly2 solo!!! It was like species recognition, and you could understand the shear joy that person must have been having!! |

The following links has helped me out and hopefully you as well.

It already passed this year but try to get out to this, next year. Plenty of free sit-in classes, free kayak / equipment demos, heavily discounted deals on stuff, etc. One of the largest Northeast kayak exhibits every year with many different kayak / outdoor clubs/organizations, etc. present.
Great place to take the family and kids under 14 are free!
