I have a Straight edge canoe. On one of the wall bladders there is a leak from the fabric "skirt" below the air valve. It right on the weld that attaches it to the bladder.

How should I go about repairing this? I have the Glue that came with it and even some fish tank silicon.

Any help would be appreciated!!

First off, I suggest e-mailing Advanced Elements. They will likely be willing to send you a new bladder if needed.

Second, a complete dis-assembly is needed to find the leak. If the leak is a teeny "pinhole" it will be easy to repair with the glue found in the AE repair kit. Holes bigger than a few millimeters will be more difficult to fix.

I suggest using 2 layers of glue, one layer while deflated and one layer while partially inflated to make sure the fix takes the proper shape and hopefully make the fix permanent.

First remove the tube from the outer shell. Locate the leak and see if it can be repaired. Notg sure when you purchased it and from who but that information is helpful along with HUll ID. Email this to info@advancedelements.com along with a couple of pics of the trouble area and we can best assist you.
