Took out my new 1009B Expedition yesterday for the first time. Loved it! I used the foam foot brace yesterday, but now am trying to install the adjustable foot pegs for next time. What are the loops for on the back of the pegs? Are they to be able to attach to the loops the foam rest was attached to? If so, what would you suggest attaching them with?

Thanks!

The straps on the back of the foot pegs are for wrapping around the tube to secure it in place. You do this before inflating. Once inflated you can then tighten the straps if necessary.

I see my photo didn't post correctly. I was asking about the loops, not the straps. I got the straps around the air tubes.

I'm thinking velcro loops linking these loops on the pegs to the loops where the foam foot support connected would help keep the peg system from slipping with pressure.

The Velcro is just there to cover the Bolt so it does not rub against the material.

LOL. Apparently I'm doing a poor job of explaining what loops I'm talking about. That's ok though. I've figured out what I'll use them for. Thanks for your time. Smile

I get what loops you are talking about.
They don't have a purpose. It is just the material folded over so that it could be stitched for the Velcro. If you can think of something creative to do with the loops, feel free to share.
