The firm drop-stitch floor is fine for two and three-hour paddles, but I'm about to spend nine hours in one day in my Advanced Frame Convertible. Has anyone had any success adding padding to the stock seats, and if so, how? Or are there other solutions?

You could try a jelly pad like those used on wheelchairs. Some paddlers like that style of seat.
