It's the one made for Marine West, with the zipper-off cockpit option (which is a very nice feature).
My first impressions are that the fabric and material are quite strong and durable.
The metal advancedframe gives a nice sharp front and trailing edge, and feels very sturdy.
It inflates quick. 5 minutes or less easily.
The tracking fin is bent a bit to one side.. I'd like to find a way to straighten that out. And the tube has a kink on one side, so I'm going to try the talcum powder technique to fix that. |

Found the technique for straightening the fin...
"The fin is small enough to where it usually doesn't make too much of a difference. Over time it will straighten out. To speed up the process, you can leave the kayak upside down out in the sun. The fin will warm up and soften as well and bend back to the straight position. YOu can also assist in bending it when it has warmed up. When you leave it out however, make sure to let some air out of the kayak so you do not leave it in the sun fully inflated and risk overinflation" |
