|
|
Hi
Just got my Strait Edge Canoe but I'm having trouble finding an adaptor that will fit the small Boston Valve used on the floor of the canoe.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I am using a Sevlor bellows foot pump, but none of it's adaptors work well with this small valve.
Thanks

With the Sevylor pump you will have to do one of two things.
1. Use the largest attachment on the pump or no attachment at all and place it over the valve in order to pump air into it.
2. There should be some tapered attachments as well. You can cut down one of them so that it fits into the valve. The current problem with the tapered attachments is that they are too long and bottom out in the valve. By cutting one of them down, it should fit in the valve.
