Does anyone know how we can mount a small electric motor on our Straight Edge Canoe?

You will probably have to get fairly creative with some PVC piping that you can place behind the rear seat.

I mounted a trolling motor on one of my Straightedge kayaks (Straightedge single). but I didn't care for the results. I don't know what the difference is in the hulls of the boats, but the Staightedge kayak is fairly short. As a result, it didn't track at all well with the electric trolling motor. I used a 17# thrust 4 spd motor. At lower speeds it did better, but at medium and slow speeds it tracked very poorly, requiring constant correction on the tiller. Let me know if you want photos of how I hooked it up and I'll post them.

It would seem to track better if it was pulling, rather than pushing.
