Thanks Sonar, I seem to keep finding more and more adaptations for my kayaks again and again.

Yup, must agree with that, I have bought 3 AE kayaks so far, planning for a fourth soon. Most probably another AE10.5 for my wife. |

| Red Snapper is one of my favorite fish to eat. I just wish I was better at catching them. I can't seem to get used to how fast they hit the line. |

Ya, you are right, not only do they hit the line fast, they spit the hook equally fast too. Lost a couple on my last trip.
One moment I was fighting the fish, next moment the line goes slack. Disappointing moments. |

I have been told freshwater carp do the same but there is a way of rigging the hook called a hair rig maybe that will be worth a try. |

Not sure if it will work for marine fishes.
It does give me a few new ideas about rigging though.
The knotless knot opens up many alternatives.
Thanks for the tip. |

The knotless knot. I think I'm probably going to regret asking what that is.
I typically fish them along the concrete barriers and work my way along as they swim along the edge. I just lose one after the other, both reds and mangrove. I swear they must laugh at me cursing at them. I usually give up. |

Another Awesome Sunrise
The tide was at its extreme low
The sky was filled with clouds
The dawn of day brings new hope
Such beauty restores the soul
