I try not to wear full skirt until I have to so I was looking at half skirts. Has anyone found one that will definitely work with the AE kayaks (Expedition in particular)? I found one at LL Bean that has the elastic cord that looks like it would work but I would have to try it.

Also, the flat part of the zipper on my front deck, the part you hold on to, broke. Any suggestions on how to fix or rig it?

If only the flat part of the zipper pull broke then you should be able to put a string or cord through there to hold onto to pull. At some stores like REI, you can get a small cord that has a plastic tabe on the end. You run the cord through the piece on top of the zipper pull then you place both ends in the little plastic tab that comes with the cord. You would then pinch the plastic tab together as to pinch the cord in the tab.
