I am a happy owner of the Advanced frame AE1012-R kayak. I have paddled the kayak a lot of times in both calm and rough seas. But I would like to improve the performance a bit more if possible. How much improvement in speed and directional stability can I expect from a backbone?

How much of the performance improves with a Drop-stitched floor compaired to a Backbone?
Are there any who have experience with a Backbone or a Drop-stitched floor who have recomendation?
