thanks @pseidman that kind of works for my kit, much better than i've had before and a connection i'd missed, so many thanks for pointing it out. i'm not sure the gauge i have is as you describe. the connection isnt robust. basically i'm fitting kpump to end of hose (for AE double action hand pump) ...

yes, the large pump is too big heavy for travelling beyond the car. so i got a kpump, which looks like it will do the trick BUT i can't get the adaptors to fit AE valves, the military 'type' valves are the main problem. shame AE didn't make these standard army size. anyone any ideas on attaching kpu...
