yes, the large pump is too big heavy for travelling beyond the car. so i got a kpump, which looks like it will do the trick BUT i can't get the adaptors to fit AE valves, the military 'type' valves are the main problem. shame AE didn't make these standard army size. anyone any ideas on attaching kpu...

hi, i'm looking for the best quality/compatibility rugged foot pump for advanced elements kayak. pumps seems to be one thing that AE don't do so well. I use the AE hand pump. I bought a Sevlar foot pump (trying to reduce weight/volume) but without correct fittings it's hopeless ... i couldn't find any way of determining these for cheaper pumps on the web.
