I am 6'2" and over 200 and I take my boat out with my girl friend who is a about 130 with gear and never have a problem. Get the back bone ane you should have no problems

My back bone came undone and put a small hole in the floor

I love my boat and it has performed admirably, however after its 3rd use in 3 weeks the back bone came undone and ripped a small hole in the floor.

IS this eligible for a warranty fix? After all this was cause by a back bone unseating after it was properly installed

I just bought my first Kayak and its a AE convertible tandem. It has yet to be delivered by AMAzon so I am scrambling to get all the gear I need. My main question is PFD's: I was thinking about going inflatable as it is easies to pack and cooler in the summer, however i will be out on Lake Michigan ...
