is use of thwart optional?
We'll be taking our maiden voyage tomorrow (two adults and our 50 lb australian shepherd for an easy flatwater paddle). Wondered if we end up needing more space for our dog, if it would it be OK to simply not use the thwart? We have a backbone for our AE1007 convertible. Thanks for any insights/advi...

Any opinions on most comfortable PFD to use with the seats in this inflatable kayak on flatwater? Half-mesh back or full floatation back PFD?
