I have been speaking with AE ambassador Ruggero Arena about the limits he has pushed his AF and he said he did 12 Kilos in the north of Norway in the atlantic. He said it was no problem if the high waves were not breaking.. He also said it does not have good 'rigidity' (doesnt 'cut the wave'). hmmmm

Would you trust your AF/AFE on fairly choppy/large swell open waters for a decent distance? say 5-15km between land... (3-10miles I think)? Unless you have a catastrophic event I cant see any issues with the boat? Next year I would like to do more longer island to island type stuff and sometimes it ...

Do you need a PSI guage for the AFE? or can you go by 'firm to the touch' method like I was doing with the expedition?

I can get a double action pump for really cheap near me but there is no guage. The one with the guage is over twice as much money
