I have a AE foot pump, the valve adaptor fits inside the main valves. With a little pressure and a twist the adaptor stays put while i completely fill the AF 10.5. This is how it is working for me. Hope it works for you.

Check the blue pocket!

Hi, I had that problem with my AF single. From the start. After a careful inspection I noticed that the built in aluminum ribs were not in the correct position. Found that the AF arrived with the ribs inserted in the blue (not sure if all models are blue) pockets that keep in place some vinyl suppor...

Jon,
Could you post the results of your experiments. I guess it would really help many of us that have the AF. I mainly paddle in Bay waters and if the backbone helps somewhat in performance it will helpful for my trips.

Hi,
I purchased a demo from airkayaks.com, it arrived just as new. Not even a scratch. They are very nice people to do business with. They arranged a good shipping deal to Puerto Rico. Send them an email with any questions.

Floor inflation?

Hi, I have a AF kayak and because I live in Puerto Rico, I keep wondering if I am inflating it correctly. Even after reading the solutions for this issue in this forum. As you all know, there is always the issue of overheating over here. Ive seen this kayak shining in the water as it receives plenty...
