Re: Are there standard air fittings or adapters?

Thanks. With the popularity of iSUPs growing fast, maybe you'll consider offering an adapter that would connect that Roberts fitting to the kayak valves.

Re: Are there standard air fittings or adapters?

Pics of the end fitting on the pump I'd like to use to "finish" the inflation of my AE kayaks after the 12V pump has maxxed out ~1 psi. The OD of the fitting is 7/8".

Are there standard air fittings or adapters?

I'd like to use the pump that came with my non-AE paddleboard to inflate my AE kayak because it has a double-action function and a functional gauge. The hose is close in diameter to the AE but has a twist-on slot & groove end fitting that won't fit the spring valves. Are there any standards in the i...

Sticky and Leaky Spring Valves

I have two older AF kayaks; - One kayak has a sticky spring valve that is difficult to get to the closed position. Is there a lubricant that can be used to help the valve? - The other has a leaking spring valve that will deflate the main tube unless the cap is on tight. Any suggestions short of valv...

Black and Decker 20V Inflator?

I'm considering obtaining one of these battery-powered pumps. Has anyone used it for their kayak/SUP? I've had good experience with the reserve power of B+D 20V yard tools and have several spare batteries. https://www.blackanddecker.com/products/power-tools/portable-power-tools/inflators/20v-max-mul...

Thanks. I sent Ritchie a picture of the leak area. He advised applying Aqua seal around the old patch edge.

Repair a leaking floor patch

The tube floor has two slow leaks at the edges of an existing patch where it crosses a "weld seam" between two tubes. I used soapy water to find them. The floor goes flat after an hour. I suspect that the patch failed because the previous owner applied when the floor was deflated, so inflation of th...

What adhesive for attaaching Velcro to deck material

I'd like to add a paddle holder consisting of two velcro straps on the deck of my AE AF. What adhesive works best on the orange deck material?

Crinkles on sides

I recently purchased a pair of AE AFs as first kayaks. They're 15 yrs old but in great shape and am very happy with them after a few outings. Both have crinkly areas in the gray bottom material along the side seams. I think its just cosmetic, but would like to get rid of them if possible. Suggestion...
