Seems a good idea using a frame for many types of fittings. Is there a cover that will clip / or stick to the top side of the 4 Mounting Grommets.? I do not see anything. Seems this could be something that will make an owner think twice about cutting holes in their Kayak. Some sort of Mounting Gromm...

After reading Cindyloos' thread and John's addition, it looks as if over-inflation is more of a problem than I thought. With such low pressures it might not be possible, or perhaps safe, but I was wondering if some sort of pressure relief valve or spring in the main valves would be a good idea? It ...

I can see how that may asist the Kayak in its tracking mainly at sea with all the swells ect with tides. I had believe it not thought of the same arrangment to to take a larger skeg At the time i was thinking about the seas in my area. High and fast tidal runs and sometimes big waves. The North Sea....

Question if the sounder did hit the bottom would it flick off and end up over the rear deck.

Sorry to hear that the main tubes may be damaged as well.
Contact the nearest stockest of the AF via the website they should be able to help you.

Hi cindyloos Welcome to the forum. So far as the floor goes i guess it will be a replacment floor you now require. so far as testing main tubes I am sure a member of the admin team will be able to tell you how to do this. A way eerrr in doors has started to use as self rescue is a short length of rope tied to the large seat buckle.
