Hello fellow yakkers,

Here is a basic map of the South Puget Sound. When the weather permits, I will take my digicam and get some good pictures as I believe I find some beautiful and surprisingly isolated locations.

There are 5 inlets near Olympia alone!

Here is a map of some trips I've taken with my AF1

I am planing on taking solo and group trips this spring and summer so expect some good photos =)

Winds were pretty rough today, gusting around 25mph.

Boston Harbor Marina and Boat Ramp

Looking S towards Olympia, at Cooper Point, Budd Inlet Entrance

Looking NE towards Tacoma and the Pacific!

Looking NNW towards Squaxin Island (Native American Reservation) and Hope Island State Park.

I plan on doing more yakking weather and schedule permitting so expect to see more =)

Hi Micah,

Are the photo's deliberate taken this way (focus on the tip of the AE)?

If not see if your camera allows to set-up focus. You might want to choose centre spot focus.

Yes those shots are done deliberately

I'm trying to focus on the Kayak :o literally

On my next trip weather permitting (damn rain and wind), I will take better photos of the critters and the mountains!

Thanks for bumping the thread and happy yakking!

What camera are you using?

Head out to the Hoods canal sometime. Beautiful paddling!
