Good Price on Hi-Back Kayak Seat

Post by mtpaddler » Fri Nov 05, 2010 10:47 am

Cheapest price I've seen on these hi-back seats. Very comfortable with three built-in rod holders. These (2) still fit in the kayak (convertible) storage bag.

I received my Advanced Elements High Back (AE2013HB) seat about a week and half ago and tried it out last weekend in my Expedition. MUCH better. The best thing is when you get into the kayak you don't have to pull the back of the seat back into position because the new seat back is much higher than the cowling. It also has two pouches in the back of it. One for your patch kit and the other is designed for an extra bottle of water. There is also a velcro strap in the back for going through the cowling buckle. Much better than the cord and ball design. All in all, two thumbs up here. Better comfort and better support.

Well two years on now and how has the new seat performed ?

Has it lasted and any problems with it. ?
Or have you had to make some alterations ..

I've only had the seat since November (joined forum 2 years ago). However the new seat design has held up and so far I have had no issues with it.
