After using my Expedition kayak for 2 years, my kids made me feel guilty enough (plus I used coupons and a few years of co-op refunds at REI) that I bought a Convertible kayak so I could start taking them with me. The kayak has been sitting in the basement over this long, cold, snowy winter. But I can start to see green again, and the river based geocaches are calling out to me.
With my Expedition, someone on the forums gave me a number of down-stroke pumps with the AE double action pump to get the first, then second chamber filled. (27 each, then a little more if needed). Can any of you provide this number for the Convertible?
Thanks!
Approximately how many pumps with the double action?

Number of pumps for a convertible
Double pump.
I start with 50 down strokes for each large chamber. Top off to adjust final pressure. Altitude - 6000 ft.

Thanks. I took it out for the first time a little over a week ago. I actually forgot to count how many pumps it took, but 50 gives me a starting place. I took my youngest daughter with me, and we got her 100th geocache out on the river. She had a blast doing so, now the other two are clamoring for their turns.
Wow, I'm almost never in your altitude though. Never too high over sea level actually.
