Rudder

Post by sgh77 » Tue Jan 16, 2018 8:04 pm

Hi 1st Post.

Hi, I have just purchased the Rudder Kit and upon reading have discovered it is only either for Solo or Tandem. Because we use the kayak in both Solo and Tandem frequently I was wondering if there is a quick and easy cheat to use the same cable for both?

If not how long would it take to swap a 2nd set of cables for changing modes?

Cheers
Shaughn

The best method would be to have two cable setups.
One for tandem and one for Solo.
You could get creative and use a cable linking system where you could possibly take out a section of the cable to convert from tandem to solo but you can possibly run into the issue of kinking. We have not tried this method so we cannot recommend it.
