Hi, I bought a inflatable Kayak which was the one on the exhibition in the store. I think it had been there for about two or three months, and was put there very inflated, I mean not overpressure but near in the limit.

I have had a bad experience before with inflatable Kayaks, because time ago I bought another one which lost air, and it was very obvius that the one on exhibition did not had this problem at all.

Do you think I made a good deal? I should mention I paid 30 euros below the price for that Kayak, I am only concerning about the durability of it.

It looks good, but I have not tested it in water yet.

If you sink, you made a bad deal!! Float, and for now at least your are 30 euros richer (until it may need repair in the future). I would not worry too much if it was there for 3 months. If it was 3 years then I would sweat a little more. I don't no why you would set yourself up again for disappointment if you had problems in the past buying demo models??? :?

The kayaks are very durable and can last a long time even when inflated. The only thing I would be worried about is if the kayak was abused while it was on display. If it looks like it wasn't and appears though it was taken care of, then you should be fine. We have left kayaks inflated for six months plus and then taken them out with no problems. Usually repairs are pretty easy too if something were to go wrong. Fortunately with all of the chambers, if you were to lose air while on the water, it will stay afloat to paddle to safety. I would suggest bringing some Tear Aid with you and also your pump.
