I have the double action pump and am using it for the first time to inflate a 2002 inflatable kayak. None of the adaptors seems to fit tight over the spring valve to inflate. What am I doing wrong?

Try a bit of masking tape around the outside of the adapter. It gave me just the right degree of traction to hold the hose in place so that I could pump with both arms.

The older valves from 2002 to 2005 require a valve adaptor that came with the kayak. It screws into the valve and has a rubber hose the the pump attachment attaches to. If you do not have this adaptor, then you can purchase it from our replacement parts section on the website www.advancedelements.com
. This section is located under products.
