which valve

Post by nrich » Mon Sep 01, 2008 6:27 am

I have the double action pump and am using it for the first time to inflate a 2002 inflatable kayak. None of the adaptors seems to fit tight over the spring valve to inflate. What am I doing wrong?

Try a bit of masking tape around the outside of the adapter. It gave me just the right degree of traction to hold the hose in place so that I could pump with both arms.

The older valves from 2002 to 2005 require a valve adaptor that came with the kayak. It screws into the valve and has a rubber hose the the pump attachment attaches to. If you do not have this adaptor, then you can purchase it from our replacement parts section on the website www.advancedelements.com. This section is located under products.
