A good pressure gauge for the spring valves?

Post by vsj » Mon Aug 13, 2012 10:07 am

Hello.

I am wondering how I could measure the pressure in the main chambers.

Does anyone know about a gauge that one could put on the valve as a cap so that the valve is in open (both ways) position and the gauge would hold the air in (even for a moment) while giving an exact reading on the pressure? If there's no such thing - I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Might this #AE4000 (http://shop.advancedelements.com/produc ... 9854.0.1.1) do the job? I live in Finland and this item is not shipped outside the US.

Can you recommend a pressure gauge that I could order?

I read from a thread on this forum that the main tube shoud be as stiff as a tennis ball. Is this safe? I'm a rather heavy guy and would like to give it a quite high pressure. Not the first one to panic about over inflating on this forum, I guess ;)

That gauge works great.
So does the one on the AE pump.
