I have a AE1007R Convertable. The backbone when assembled (5 Sections) does not extend completly from bow to stern........ is this correct? Thanks.

that should be right. in the AE 10.5 and AE Expedition, it doesn't reach end to end. The inner tube sits on top of the blades, which are curved to crade support the inner tube.
