Another backbone Q

Post by MDO » Wed Aug 12, 2009 12:53 pm

When pulling the backbone out, the tube at the front (bow) gets yanked and slides out of the bow rib. I only realized this after the kayak appeared relly deformed when I next inflated it. Suggestion to avoid this? Putting it back in is not that big a deal, but I certainly had to figure it out.

When pulling it out, reach inside there and hold the blade area of the backbone with one hand and use the other hand to hold the tube.
