:cry: AE this thread cleary demonstrates there is a need for some form of foot bracing in the AFC, what are you doing about this need if anything? If nothing why not?

There is definitely a need for the foot brace. The 10.5 needs something to give additional stability and control in waves. The Convertible really needs something for the person in the front, and for when being paddled solo. We stuff various objects in the front of the kayak to give us a make-shift foot brace, but AE really needs to come out with something better. Don't get me wrong, we love our kayaks. They are everything an inflatable should be (in my opinion), but they need foot braces.

For the 10.5 and the front of the Convertible there is an inflatable foot brace the AE offers. Model AE2012

That might work for some people in the 10.5 (not for my 11 year old though), but it would take a bunch of them to work in the Convertible.
