Is the non-DS Expedition still being made?

Has the non-drop stitch version of the Expedition been removed and the DS floor is now standard?
I ask because the links for the basic Expedition now show information for the Expedition Elite.

The reason I ask is I can get a really good deal on a new Expedition, which I assume are the 2019 model because the chain selling them have just stocked them for the first time in years. The problem is, their online listing doesn't have Elite in the name so I'm unsure whether or not it comes with the DS floor.

Yes, I did ask them first and am waiting to hear back, but it's a limited time deal so I'm also asking here in the hope either company replies in time.

The Expedition Elite is the only current Expedition model now, which comes with the DS floor.

Was the change made for the 2019 model, or were the 18's (or earlier) DS only?

AE1009-XE Expedition Elite with Dropstitched floor was introduced in 2017.
AE1009-B Expedition Blue was introduced in 2015 as the AE1009-LTD. It was made permanent in 2016 as AE1009-B. This has the standard floor.
AE1009-Y Expedition in Yellow ran 2007-2015 and has the standard floor.

Whomever you are getting the deal through, ask for the Hull ID. It is a sticker on the Outer carton that starts with XZE. That will tell us the year produced. If they are unable to get you the Hull ID, get the UPC. They were changed as the models changed.

It turned out to be a 2018 XE. I'm happy with it, though since I'll be doing a lot of portaging, lifting it the first time made me wish I could have gotten something with dropstitch rigidity and cargo capacity that weighed as much as the Ultralite. Sadly you can't have everything.

Just out of curiousity, were there any major changes between the 18 and 19 models?

There are no changes between 2018 and 2019.
