Magazine article about my home waters

Post by PJohanson » Tue Oct 09, 2007 3:04 pm

My home waters are Cadboro Bay and the surrounding bays and islands in and near Victoria, BC, Canada.
The June 2005 issue of Sea Kayaker magazine has an article on p 62 about an incident in Baynes channel right outside Cadboro Bay. It's a great read, particularly since my partner and paddle partner just had a similar incident in the same spot two days ago -- but luckily without the dislocated shoulder and drifting out into the strait.
Just one more good reason why our paddle group tries to be very careful, even in familiar places!
