Skeg/Rudder on Expedition

Does anyone know if you can mount the skeg or rudder on the expedition for better tracking in tidal/windy conditions? The specs for the Expedition say there's a mount for the rudder, but I don't see how it's attached.

For the older Expeditions (pre 2017) you can add the AE4005 Rudder Kit.
The current AE2017 AE1009-XE comes with a rudder mount already attached. You can attach the AE4002 Skeg to it or you can also add the rudder from AE4005.

I have the older version. So if I wanted the skeg rather than the rudder, I'd need to get the rudder anyway just for the mount, correct?

That is correct because the mount is not sold separate.
