I have had this happen to me, too. Floor mis-alignment and under-inflation are the cause. There are warnings all over about over-inflation, but problems like the one you've describe come from under-inflation or mis-inflation. cleaning

I take mine out in salt water (Santa Monica Bay) several times a week. It goes in the bag wet. I get it home, re-inflate and stand it up to dry. The sand and salt brushes off when it is dry. So far so good after a month.

I bought the Advanced Elements Kayak Cargo bag and cannot understand how it would be used. No instructions came with it and it seems improbable that water would stay out.
