pump for Voyage 2

I got a Voyage 2 kayak on Massdrop. I was surprised that it doesn't seem to have the little knobs on the receiver valves to hold the input tube in while inflating. I have a single way (as opposed to the in/out pump) pump that's an AE that has a pressure meter on it. Is that appropriate to use? All m...

Thanks. I'm thinking i may take it to the Tetons to camp. I am pretty sure I can hug the shoreto stay out of wind and waves, and I"ll try to go early. I'm a little concerned about bears being interested in it. I may uninflate it and stick it in my tent. Have you heard of AE boats being the subject o...

Island Voyage 2

Does that use a backbone? I am thinking about getting it to use, as a solo boat, for camping trips. I have a Lagoon and an Advanced Frame, and I'm thinking the extra space would give me space to put camping gear. Am I on the right track with this purpose for this boat?

JCooley, or anyone else for that matter, what is meant by a "drop stitch floor"? No trade secrets, just a hint about why it is called that and why it's important. Thanks. Pringles

Welcome to the group. I'm sure you'll have a good time with your kayak. Here, it's almost time to take kayaks out. In fact, maybe I should go look for it... . I love my little inflatable when I take my truck camper. I don't have to work to load the boat, or unload it, and I still get to play! Pringles

I like my four piece Advanced Elements paddle. I use it sometimes when I use my other kayaks. It doesn't flutter, and it feels comfortable.
