Re: Better bag for the convertible

Thanks for the suggestions. I found a 200 litres Bag from www.bengar.de for about $ 60. The convertible fits perfectly and there is enough space for pfd, seat, paddle, tent and a lot of other things. Even the backbone has its place. https://bengar.de/en/reisetasche-200-liter.html?___from_store=de Al...

Better bag for the convertible

I do the transport of the convertible on an Ekla foldy trolley, which I bought here in Austria. Re: Back on the seat

Hi, I bought a seat with a higher backrest an cut off the buckles of the regualr seat an put it on the new one. It's far better than the old one. I'll wait for the next adventure till the pfd's are here.
But again... kayaking is just awesome. Thanks AE
Cheers

No spraydeck, no lifevest and just the experience of watching hundreds of how-to youtube-videos. We went to a lake (reservoir) about half an hour up the mountain. It was cloudy and about 12° C and just a little windy but anyway. You have to do, what you gotta do. We set up the boat in less than ten...

Broke a lot of stuff already in the living room, just trying to turn the boat around. Can't wait for going to the lake on weekend!

Hello from Austria

Hello everybody,

I just got my AE Convertible and though I wasn't able to get it in the water yet I already love it. I am new to kayaking and I will try out a lot of hints and tipps mentioned in this great forum.

All the best and lots of greetings from Austria
Chris
