I am confident in taking my Expedition into ocean conditions in Northern California, paying attention, of course, to wind, tide and swell conditions. K-Pumps are great, if a bit expensive. Light, easily stowed. To get the most use out of it on multiple types of valves, get one with a check valve. You also can attach one of the Advance elements in-line gauges. Very good pumps.
