Long Paddle - Lots of Pictures and Videos
Just got back from a 27km paddle in my AdvancedFrame 10.5. Took me 8 hours and I was still perfectly comfortable all the way. If you're interested in reading about it, you can find the story and pics in two parts on my blog, here;

Thanks Jeremy, I can't tell you how much joy this AdvancedFrame kayak has brought me. I just went on another paddle today. Not quite as long this time, but still four and a half hours. You might get a chuckle out of this one because I ran into ice on the lake. Tell me something, are AE kayaks built tough enough to break ice?

Another interesting paddle that I did on May 8th. Have a look.

Just got back from a five day paddling/portaging trip here in Northern Ontario. I was in my AdvancedFrame, my son was in his Modified Firefly 2, and my brother in his Mad River canoe. Here's the blog post on Part 1 of the trip. Part 2 will be up soon;

Yep, if my equipment had to be expensive, I probably wouldn't be able to do these kinds of things. My son got that Firefly 2 for only $150. and it was in like new condition.
All those little details are what makes the trip really memorable. Quite often I'll go back and read my own stories, just to get that same feeling as when I was actually out there. It helps me get through the long cold winters.
