Lake Havasu Outing

Post by MikeCoke » Fri Feb 25, 2011 3:37 am

Staying at Cattail Cove State Park and took the Kayak out for a short paddle today.
Headed south from Cattail and stopped at the BLM Whytes Retreat boat in camp for a break.

We love Cattail Cove as it is one of our favorite spots and also a nice place to camp. We used to tow our motor runabout boat to Lake Havasu for many years for spring vacation. Now that we've parted with it, I can't wait to get on the lake with a Kayak. The far end by Parker Dam that goes into the Marsh lands is a great area to kayak as well.

Thanks for sharing!
