Post by spikeithard » Mon Aug 08, 2016 10:18 am

Hey, just picked up a 13 foot expedition kayak the other week and have been out 4-5 times so far. Its great! Really love being on the water - quite relaxing.

Nice looking boat, and it looks like you have a magnificent place to paddle. Welcome!

Great choice in a kayak. My 2007 AFX is still like new despite thousands of miles (even more kms) of paddling over the years. Your new Expedition (AFX) looks terrific, and your waterways are simply alluring. Not bad, eh?

well its been almost a year and I should give an update on what is going on with me and kayaking.

I sold my AE exp and was going to grab the AFE but last second changed my mind to go with a 14 foot poly Necky Manitou.

I had that for about 2-3 months then upgraded to a thermoformed Delta17 kayak.

My skills progressed with multiple rolls and braces getting easier and easier.

I recently just picked up a used Zegul Arrow Play MV kayak for $4000 used :)

Its a play boat made of kevlar carbon and stainless steel.

4 kayaks in under a year

What a blast!

Pretty boats. You have the disease... :-) There's always a reason for a new boat.
