Comfortable seating with a drop-stitch floor
The firm drop-stitch floor is fine for two and three-hour paddles, but I'm about to spend nine hours in one day in my Advanced Frame Convertible. Has anyone had any success adding padding to the stock seats, and if so, how? Or are there other solutions?
I have added padding to my Expedition Elite AE1009 using this:
1. I've used the foam from thick yoga mat. You know , one of the thick spongy yoga mats. You can buy them at TJMax or Walmart for around $15
2. attached it to the BOTTOM of the seat using double sided sticky Velcro.
I cannot say about using it for 9 hours, but for my trips of 3 to 4 hours it made a huge difference.
I guess you could buy seat padding on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Skwoosh-Accessor ... B000A3I7IY and put in on top, but my cheap solution worked for me.
