Hi, not sure if anyone has seen this site called "EveryTrail" but it's pretty cool way to document your kayak trips (as well as hikes and other outdoor activities). It combines your GPS tracks with pictures and embeds it all together onto a map showing your path along with a picture slide show.
You can do both GPS tracks and pictures at same time with a mobile phone app or you can use a stand-alone GPS and separate camera. If doing the separate method you export the tracks file to .gpx and upload it to EveryTrail and then upload a dozen or so pictures taken along the way. Their system automatically places the picture along the route based on time the picture was taken.
I'll post links to our last 2 trips as separate posts.

p.s. there seems to be some bug with the picture descriptions on their site lately. It keeps repeating the same description for every picture.
