Tear tape A or B?

Just double checking which 'Tear Tape' to buy?

The AE repair kit patches (which seems universally recommended for a long term repairs) looks to me as NOT stretchable.

Can you please clarify: It is my understanding that Type B is stretchable. Is this a concern when repairing the inflatable tubes ( AE1009) ?

Type B is in reference to Tear Aid which is a self adhesive patch that can be purchased separate. It is not an AE product. It is also more of a temporary fix and not a long term solution.
For long term solutions, you will want to glue on the patches that come in the patch kit. If it is on the main tube, when inflated, the patch will stretch with the rest of the tube.
